Pictures and information on my skateboard collection I have been collecting for many years now. Most boards are from the era that I did most of my skateboarding, the 'second wave' of 1976-1984 Many items are in mint condition and have never been used. I have endeavoured to take the best possible photographs, to capture and preserve every detail. I hope you like what you see Here you'll find stuff on the rise of skateboarding in the UK during the 70's through to it's quieter period at the beginning of the 80's. Information on the skateparks and competitions we had back then. Boards and equipment that was UK in origin. The stars we used to see in all the magazines, who were they? can you remember their names? who they rode for? and where are they now? Here are many links to skateboard resources on the web. Sites run by other collectors, organisations, manufacturers of both old and new-school equipment. As well as longboard resources for us thirty-somethings who are still riding today. There are many out there, I've included some of the best. I saved all my skateboard magazines from the 70's. There were many times when I nearly threw them out, but thankfully I could never go through with it. I have the complete collection of 'Skateboard! - Europe's Hottest Skateboard Magazine' I have various other magazines and price list, club newsletters that I've posted here too. Facilities to leave comments about this site. Feel free to offer suggestions. Buy, sell & trade old equipment with other collectors.here, I've included some of the best.
